Project Title: Development of Network System & Infrastructure Development at NDUB Relocation Building

Responsibility:

  • Network Architecture: Designed and implemented a scalable network infrastructure to support the university’s current and future needs.
  • Tender & BOQ Management: Led the tender process, meticulously preparing the Bill of Quantities (BOQ) while ensuring compliance with technical and financial requirements.
  • Project Execution & Coordination: Managed the project from inception to completion, coordinating cross-functional teams and ensuring timely delivery within budget.
  • Vendor & Procurement Management: Negotiated with vendors to source high-quality equipment and services, ensuring optimal performance and cost-efficiency.
  • Risk Management & Compliance: Identified potential risks and developed mitigation strategies to ensure seamless execution.
  • Technical Documentation: Created detailed network diagrams, equipment specifications, and installation guides to support future scalability and maintenance.

Responsibility:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Led the design and installation of a university-wide CCTV surveillance system with 140 bullet and dome cameras, ensuring enhanced security and monitoring capabilities.
  • Vendor & Equipment Selection: Managed vendor negotiations, procurement of surveillance cameras, NVR systems, and networking equipment, optimizing cost and performance.
  • System Integration & Testing: Ensured seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure, conducting system testing and quality assurance.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborated with university administration and IT teams to align the project with security policies and operational requirements.
  • Maintenance & Documentation: Developed maintenance guidelines and technical documentation for system upgrades and troubleshooting.

  • User Requirement Gathering (URS): Collaborated with stakeholders to analyze business needs and document comprehensive User Requirement Specifications (URS).
  • Software Requirement Specification (SRS) Development: Translated URS into detailed, actionable SRS to guide software development and implementation.
  • Process Optimization & Workflow Automation: Identified gaps in existing processes and proposed workflow automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Acted as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
  • Project Coordination: Assisted in project tracking, ensuring milestones were met and deliverables aligned with business expectations.

  • Requirement Analysis & Documentation: Collaborated with stakeholders to gather and document User Requirement Specifications (URS) for the library management system.
  • System Implementation & Customization: Assisted in the implementation of Koha, an open-source integrated library system, ensuring customization based on institutional needs.
  • Process Optimization & Automation: Identified gaps in manual processes and proposed workflow automation to improve book cataloging, user management, and borrowing/return tracking.
  • Stakeholder Coordination & Training: Acted as a liaison between the Notre Dame University Bangladesh IT team and Notre Dame School & College faculty to ensure smooth implementation and system adoption.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Conducted User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to verify system functionality and ensure alignment with library operations.
  • Project Documentation: Developed technical manuals and training materials to support system users and future enhancements.
